HEATLESS ROLLER SET ON NATURAL HAIR

 My Natural Hair Roller Set!

Hi Naturals, I hope you all doing great, Just to show you how versatile our natural hair can be and many different unique styles you can do on your natural hair, I decided to try something I haven't done before,  A NO HEAT ROLLER SET on my natural hair and am soooooo in love with the results. This is a very simple style but it does take some time considering I have so much hair on my head!!!

So I will give you a step by step on how I achieved this look.

I started on freshly washed, detangle and conditioned hair with suave naturals conditioner, then I sectioned my hair into 6 sections to make it easier to work with. You can do smaller sections though as long as it works for you.

 I used two different sizes of the magnetic roller sets with covers, I used the bigger ones on the back and the smaller ones in the front to have a tighter curl but there is not much difference.

For the products as mentioned I used the suave coconut conditioner to wash and deep condition my hair and the IC Fantasia Hair Polisher Gel for color treated Hair to set my hair.


So to set my hair  started from the back working to the front of my hair. For a smooth set I did as follows:
1. I parted my back section into smaller sections to set. Then I took a small section of my hair,( Am working  on wet hair and not dry hair) detangled with my denman brush.
2. applied a small amount of gel to smooth the section while combing it through with the small tooth comb, make sure your hair is smooth and detangled all the way to the ends for a polished curl, then I rolled the section up and secured with the roller cover. I did the same to all the sections of my hair, this took me 2hrs to complete setting all the rollers and securing them in place with my satin scarf and let them to set overnight.

The next morning I took the rollers down gently to avoid frizz and separated the curls. you can separate the curls according to your liking, the more you separate the fuller your set will be, This is the first time I have done this style and I absolutely love it.
